Welcome to Tremarne Campsite on the edge of St Austell where you can simply pitch up, sit back, relax and breathe in this beautiful part of Cornwall! Tremarne is a peaceful, well sheltered, family run site with on-site bar and stunning views over the Cornish countryside. The grounds have generously sized pitches; guests also have access to a smart and well-maintained modern shower block, chest freezer, recycling facilities, chemical disposal and a covered washing-up area with scenic views.

In our spacious, secure, dog friendly campsite there’s room for children to play safely, dogs to laze in the sun or run around in our fenced, off lead area and grownups can sit back (with a cocktail or two at our bar) and just relax. Tremarne Campsite, St Austell is ideally situated for those wishing to explore the many and varied local attractions and close to a host of local amenities.

** We are now taking 2024 Bookings. Season begins 4th May – 28th Sept **

Please note we have a ‘One Sleeping Accommodation per pitch’ rule and do not accept Sunday arrivals. 

*For “Electric Hook Up pitches” in High Season our minimum advance booking is a Five night stay.

*For “non-electric pitches” in High Season our minimum advance booking is a Three night stay. (This does not apply to late availability).

You couldn’t want more from a site. Lovely quiet location with stunning views. Off lead dog area, small but perfectly formed, generous pitches water taps close by, great washing up area, great showers, and even a bar. The owners could not be more friendly and accommodating and work blooming hard on the campsite and it shows.

The pitches are nicely sheltered by tall trees on all sides and there is plenty of space – our pitch was about 10 metres wide with lovely mowed grass. All the lighting on site is environmentally friendly, only coming on when you need it.

The bar area is an added bonus. Large pitches with option of hiring a fire pit, which made our holiday even more enjoyable.

We had a fabulous week at Tremarne: playing football and Badminton, even had a camp fire on site! Small, quiet and very friendly with superbly clean facilities. We will definitely be back!!!

A Cornwall Gem – Lovely campsite just north-east of St Austell so great for visiting the north & south coast. Facilities are all great & well maintained & the bar is a very welcome option in the evening as it’s very reasonable & very well stocked. Craig’s cocktails are already gaining a excellent reputation.

We stayed here for my birthday and had a lovely weekend. The site is clean and tidy with a great wash up area, toilet and showers are great. When the evenings came we had a relaxing time by the fire pits toasting marshmallows. Friendly people too, well worth a visit.
